Fantastic upgrade to the old ALICE style “compass pouch." A bit bigger and more capable. Very handy! Our compass pouch is designed to hold more than just a compass. It will hold compass, small signal mirror, emergency whistle, fresnel lens, and fire starter (matches or Bic or similar). Now with laser cut Hypalon back panel. Designed to attach to pack shoulder strap with strips of double-sided hook & loop (included). Can also use MOLLE attachments such as MOLLE Sticks, MALICE Clips, etc. (Note: These are NOT INCLUDED). Made in U.S.A. with 1000D Cordura nylon (Multicam, Woodland, Green, and Coyote Brown) and 500D Cordura nylon (Vietnam Tiger Stripe). Internal dimensions: 3" wide x 4" tall x 1.5" front-to-back. Lift-The-Dot snap. Attach with included 1/2" or 3/4" or 1" double-sided hook and loop - VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP or similar (included) or MALICE Clips or MOLLE Sticks or similar (not included).

Immediately loved this thing! Fits a DBAL perfectly - although I bought it for a compass. I greatly appreciate this for NOT having Velcro anywhere on it. I hate Velcro for field gear - nothing but noisy a dirt magnet. American companies seem fixated on using Velcro for pouches, which suggests (to me) they don't really spend a lot of time in the field with their products. This is well put together with multiple options for mounting it to whatever. Great product. I'll be ordering a few more of these.
